Matthew Dellavedova became a folk hero for the Cleveland Cavaliers during the postseason. Now, the breakout star is facing a big decision this summer as a restricted free agent that will change his future.

Cavs Give Delly Qualifying Offer Tuesday, June 30 According to a release from the Cavaliers' official website, general manager David Griffin announced the team extended qualifying offers to a trio of players, including Dellavedova.

In doing so, the Cavaliers will be able to match any offer sheet Dellavedova may receive when players can begin negotiating with teams July 1. 

Prior to this year's postseason, Dellavedova was an obscure presence on Cleveland's roster over the last two years. He has appeared in 139 regular-season games, averaging 4.7 points and 2.8 assists. 

In the playoffs, Dellavedova filled in admirably for Kyrie Irving when he was unable to play in the Eastern Conference Finals and the NBA Finals. He started seven games, scoring a playoff career-high 20 points in Game 3 against the Golden State Warriors.
