The Los Angeles Lakers (10-41) will attempt to win consecutive games for the first time since January 3 when they visit the New Orleans Pelicans (18-30) as double-digit underdogs Thursday.

The Lakers ended a season-high 10-game losing streak with a 119-115 victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves as 4.5-point home dogs Tuesday.

Kobe Bryant had the best game of his final year with a season-high 38 points for Los Angeles versus the T-Wolves, making 10 of 21 shots from the field, including seven of 11 from beyond the three-point arc and 11 of 12 from the free-throw line.

However, he is listed as questionable against New Orleans due to a sore shoulder and may sit. Bryant had scored 48 points combined in his previous four games with a total of seven three-pointers.

The Pelicans have lost two in a row straight up and against the spread after winning seven of nine SU with a 6-3 mark ATS during that stretch. They surrendered 110 points to both the Memphis Grizzlies and San Antonio Spurs during their current skid and have seen the over go 9-0-1 in their last 10 games, according to the Odds Shark NBA Database.
