The moment we've all been waiting for has finally arrived.

The NBA finals start Thursday,June 3rd,9:00 pm ET on ABC.

The defending champions face a tough task as they have to face their longtime rival Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals. Led by Kobe Bryant, the Lakers were able to get past the Oklahoma City Thunder, Utah Jazz, and Phoenix Suns to get to the NBA finals.

Bryant has been nothing less than spectacular in the playoffs. He is averaging 29.4 PPG (Points Per Game), 1.0 SPG (Steals Per Game), 6.2 APG (Assists Per Game), and 5.1 RPG (Rebounds Per Game) during his team's postseason run.

Kobe Bryant at 31 years of age has carried this Lakers team to the NBA Finals.

If you ask me, it looks like the NBA has given the MVP trophy away too early.

The Boston Celtics will look to repeat what they did in the 2007-2008 season and win another NBA title. Before the playoffs started there were a lot of concerns about whether or not the Boston Celtics could get to this point.

I myself admit that before the playoffs started I thought the Celtics would go out in the first round.
