Saturday night, Blake Griffin posted 31 points as the Los Angeles Clippers downed the San Antonio Spurs 105-85 on the road.

After a first quarter that saw neither team run away with a large lead, Griffin and Co. capitalized on San Antonio's defensive lapses and offensive struggles in the second period and garnered a double-digit lead that they carried throughout the remainder of the contest.

San Antonio's Big Three was silent, with Tim Duncan posting just four points, while Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili added nine apiece. The trio combined for 6-of-22 shooting and eight turnovers.

The Spurs' offensive leader was Kawhi Leonard, who led the team with 24 points. Though he contributed nicely when the rest of the team fell silent, the Clippers simply out-played San Antonio in every facet of the game. 

Griffin, on the other hand, had plenty of help as Chris Paul posted 20 points. DeAndre Jordan added 19 rebounds, setting the tone for a 56-36 rebounding differential in favor of L.A.
