There are certain phrases or sentences in life that you say because they are now true but they seem odd to utter because they don't fit the normal pattern you have always been so used to.  Take, for example, having to pay almost $5 a gallon for gas like we did here in the California a few years ago.

I never thought I'd say that.

Then, a few years later, the price dropped to $1.60!

Did you know that right now, if you wanted to visit the Disneyland parks in Anaheim, it would cost you $97.00 per person over the age of 10! A family of four is going to drop $388.00 just for the privilege to get in to Disneyland. It costs even more before your kids let you leave.

Although you can apply the phrase to several areas of life—gas, Disneyland, and more — it has a permenant residence in sports.

The Steelers look like a mediocre team in 2009 after winning it all last year.
