Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard recorded his 1,500th point and 400th assist of the 2015-16 season during Tuesday's 116-109 overtime win over the Washington Wizards. Lillard joined Oscar Robertson and LeBron James as the only players in NBA history to reach both of those milestones in each of their first four seasons, per the Trail Blazers PR Twitter account.
The 25-year-old point guard accomplished the feat in impressive fashion, putting up 41 points, 11 assists and five rebounds over 44 minutes Tuesday night, converting 12 of his 25 field-goal attempts, six of his 13 three-point attempts and 11 of his 12 shots from the charity stripe.
He also added a steal and only turned the ball over one time, with his efficient performance making up for an off night from fellow Blazers guard C.J. McCollum, who finished with 18 points, two assists, three rebounds and a game-high six turnovers.
Lillard has now scored 20 or more points in 15 consecutive games, marking the longest such streak by a Trail Blazers player since Brandon Roy also strung together 15 straight 20-point performances during the 2009-10 season, per ESPN Stats & Info.
