LeBron James Speaks on Warriors Tying Bulls’ Record for Most Wins in NBA Season

Just because the Golden State Warriors are a major potential road block in the Cleveland Cavaliers' path to an NBA title, it doesn't mean Cavs star LeBron James can't appreciate history.

The Warriors picked up their 72nd win of the season following a 92-86 victory Sunday over the San Antonio Spurs. That tied them with the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls for the most regular-season wins in NBA history. Rather than being envious of the Warriors' success, James said Monday he's glad he has been there to see it in person, per Tom Withers of the Associated Press (via NBA.com):

I can say that I actually got to witness some history. I remember the '95-96 [Bulls], but I wasn't watching every game, wasn't fortunate enough to watch every game. So, I knew about it. I kind of watched the Bulls from afar but to actually be in the league now while they're setting this record, have the opportunity to set this record, it would be something I can talk about later in life.

If they reach the NBA Finals for a second year in a row, the Cavaliers would likely face a rematch with the Warriors. Their chances of overcoming Golden State don't look promisin ...
