LeBron James Shows Love to Special Olympian, Gives Him Shoes After Game

MVP recognizes MVP.

A Special Olympian was honored during the Cleveland Cavaliers-Boston Celtics game on Tuesday night at the TD Garden for winning the Most Valuable Player award at a recent event.

Cavaliers superstar LeBron James, a four-time NBA MVP himself, made sure to show some love to the young athlete.

Although that interaction would've made for a cool story by itself, it got even better after the game, per ESPN's Dave McMenamin:

Following the game, James talked about his appreciation for the Special Olympian, per Fox Sports Ohio:

James posted 24 points and seven rebounds in the Cavaliers' 89-77 victory. Those numbers are good, but nothing he did during the game was going to top what he did after it.
