LeBron James Should Remember the Cleveland Fans This Summer

Mike Holmgren, recently hired as president of the Browns, is no longer the biggest sports story in Cleveland. All the talk now centers around LeBron James.

Will he go?

Will he stay at home?

Chicago, New York, New Jersey, and now Dallas are all supposedly front-runners to sign James once free agency begins.

There will most likely be a King's invite (pun intended). Teams will roll out the red carpet to lure James away from the Cavaliers if, and when, he visits these other franchises.

Everyone is focused on where James will go. But, hardly anyone is talking about James' departure from Cleveland would effect the team's fans and the city's economy.

LeBron's exist will cause the economy to flop. No one will come from out of town, and spend money, to see James play if LeBron is no longer a Cavalier.

He needs to put everything in perspective. Luckily, he seems like a very smart and mature enough guy who will do this.
