LeBron James Has Hopes High in Cleveland: OMG Not Again!

As a lifelong tortured Cleveland sports fan, I have many soft and tender sports wounds.  

Cleveland sports teams have time and again, spent years developing and growing powerful, great franchises.

The Browns for more than a generation, had Paul Brown/Blanton Collier at the helm. We could count on them being in an NFL championship nearly every season. Paul Brown was the last Northeast Ohioan, who was born, raised and achieved legendary status in our little corner of the world. Sorry, Bernie, but you never won us a Super Bowl.

The old Browns, despite having one of the best two-or-three NFL franchise records, never won the NFL championship in the Super Bowl era—Ouch!

A tear or two drips down my face whenever I recall all of the pivotal moments gone wrong. The Catch, the Interception, the Drive, the Fumble...in Cleveland, every failure has a name.

Now, with the Cavaliers, there is so much to hope for. Good things are happening everywhere. With the addition of Antawn Jamison, a great player, who smiled when he was traded to Cleveland. Joe Johnson, another great player, who simply wants to play with LeBron and will sacrifice c ...
