The former Cavs player, who is intentionally censored out of the picture, is now the No. 2 most-hated Cleveland sports figure behind Art Modell and he only has himself to blame for it.

Moving on to more optimistic pastures.

"The good news is that the ownership team and the rest of the hard-working, loyal, and driven staff here at your hometown Cavaliers have not betrayed you nor NEVER will betray you," wrote Cavs owner Dan Gilbert in a press statement after the decision was made by you-know-who.

Positive words with a touch of anger behind them from Gilbert. Gilbert now has a ton of extra money for the Cavs to pursue other players, now that a former player has decided to take less money elsewhere and play second-fiddle to Dwayne Wade to help him win a ring.

The Cavs have Antawn Jamison, who is indeed a talented player himself, and they can always resign Shaquille O'Neal, who may not be as pricey as the $20 million he made in the 2009-2010 season.

If O'Neal has a heart and and sympathize with Clevelanders, then the best thing for him to do would be to resign with the Cavs and become the new leader of the team.
