LeBron James Brings JR Smith on Stage, Introduces Hillary Clinton at Ohio Rally

Just two days before the 2016 presidential election, Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James did what he could to help Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.  

The four-time NBA MVP introduced Clinton on Sunday at a rally in Cleveland alongside teammate J.R. Smith. CNN provided video of the short message:



Clinton returned the favor by praising James' work off the court, via ABC News:



James formally endorsed the former Secretary of State last month in an op-ed on Business Insider.

"Only one person running truly understands the struggles of an Akron child born into poverty," James said. "And when I think about the kinds of policies and ideas the kids in my foundation need from our government, the choice is clear. That candidate is Hillary Clinton."

The superstar added, "I support Hillary because she will build on the legacy of my good friend, President Barack Obama."
