New York Knicks forward Lance Thomas has been ruled out of Tuesday's game against the Denver Nuggets with a knee injury.

Thomas' Long-Term Status Is Unknown

Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News reported it is a "sore left knee" that is keeping Thomas out of the game. He injured the knee "during warm-ups" before the contest, according to Marc Berman of the New York Post:
After the game, the Knicks announced an MRI revealed "no structural damage."
Thomas a Consistent Bench Wing for Knicks
Thomas, who has started five games this season, is averaging 8.2 points and 2.2 rebounds in 22.3 minutes.
He missed five games earlier in the season, including two after suffering a concussion in early February.
Any injury right now for the Knicks just compounds an already-rough season. They are 26-38 heading into the tilt with the Nuggets and have Kurt Rambis as interim head coach after firing Derek Fisher 54 games into the season.
