Harlem Globetrotters Extend Invitation to Kobe Bryant

Yes, you read that right.

Just before the Lake Show downed the Wizards, Bryant was quoted as saying: "Right now I wish we had the Washington Generals on our schedule." While the future Hall of Famer was clearly just frustrated with the losing streak, the Generals' longtime rival came to Bryant with a proposition.

The Globetrotters took to their official Twitter account and invited LA's No. 24 to play a game with the team against the Generals, tweeting:

Kobe wants to play the Generals next. We can make that happen. Just ask former Globetrotter @magicjohnson. Kobe - give us a call.
