Uncle Drew has dismissed you, Detroit Pistons fans.
After dropping 31 points on 12-of-25 shooting in Game 4 on Sunday night, Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving had a simple message for supporters of the newly swept Motor City: “Bye-bye!"
The 24-year-old point guard buried an ice-cold triple to extend Cleveland’s lead to 100-96 with 42 seconds left. He then locked down Reggie Jackson as time expired, preserving the 100-98 victory and the series sweep.
That’s when he bid farewell to Pistons fans.
