Kosta Koufos and Kings Reportedly Agree to 4-Year Contract

Kosta Koufos is reportedly headed to the Sacramento Kings. 

According to ESPN's Marc Stein, the big man agreed to a four-year, $33 million deal with Sacramento. Stein also noted the deal includes a player option after year three.

ESPN's Chris Broussard previously reported the two Los Angeles-based teams expressed interest in Koufos.



That report came after Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports noted the Los Angeles Clippers would have to acquire Koufos via a sign-and-trade deal if they want him. 

Koufos has been a solid backup center in his seven NBA seasons, averaging 5.4 points and 4.7 rebounds per game with outstanding defense. He was worth 2.5 defensive win shares last season, per Basketball-Reference.com, despite playing less than 17 minutes per game.
