Kobe Bryant: Lakers Star Makes Appearance in Chinese Hip-Hop Video

Kobe Bryant is no stranger to the world of music.

We all remember his ill-fated rap career, something that you know Kobe has to wish could disappear from the Internet forever. However, Bryant decided he was going to return to the game—the only thing is, he did it in China.

That may not make much sense, but it will when you watch this video from Chinese rapper Jay Chou. Let's just put it this way: This song isn't going to be remembered with the greats like the Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac. In fact, it looks like those bad foreign commercials that we've seen from American celebrities in the past.

I'm not sure exactly why he decided to do it, but if I'm his teammates, this is taking the place of that awful ad with Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian for their awful unisex fragrance in the locker room. Someone has to clown him for this hip-hop abomination, even if he is the best basketball player in the game today.

While it's a huge thing for this rapper to get Kobe in his video, I don't expect to see this song blowing up on iTunes anytime soon.
