Klay Thompson’s Record-Setting 37-Point Quarter Gets Mixed into ‘NBA Jam’

January 27th, 2015 by Kyle Newport Leave a reply »

Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson's 37-point outburst in the third quarter of Friday's game against the Sacramento Kings was so ridiculous that it's something you'd only expect to see in video games.

More specifically, the classic video game NBA Jam.

Thompson went 13-of-13 from the floor—with nine shots coming from three-point range—in the third quarter, setting the NBA record for the most points in a quarter.

Thompson finished the game with 52 points.

"He's on fire!"
