Kings Ready To Make Push Back Into Playoffs

It has been a long time since the Kings were a legitimate Western Conference contender. It has taken years of rebuilding and a number of trades, but it finally looks like the Kings have the pieces necessary to make a push back into the playoffs. Led by last year's Rookie of the Year Tyreke Evans and Co., the Kings have enough talent to make a name for themselves come next April.

The Kings back court consists of guards Tyreke Evans, Beno Udrith, Francisco Garcia, Antoine Wright, and Pooh Jeter. At the wings are Omri Caspi, and Donte Greene. And down on the post they have DeMarcus Cousins, Jason Thompson, Carl Landry, Samuel Dalembert, and Hassan Whiteside.

Although there are not many big names lining the Kings roster, they have the build of a team that can surprise many opponents who do not take them seriously.

Tyreke Evans took the league by storm last year, averaging 20.1ppg, 5.3rpg, and 5.8apg.
