The Minnesota Timberwolves are one of the few teams that will have enough money to sign a big free agent coming up this offseason.

Preferring not to dive into numbers, David Kahn has made it clear with the Alando Tucker trade, that he is capable of making moves that can only help positively from this point.

Many NBA fans questioned why would a GM take two point guards back to back in the 2009 NBA which he picked Jonny Flynn and Ricky Rubio, despite them both being the best left on the board, Ricky Rubio playing in Spain, and the Wolves having a desperate need for a wing player?

Going back to the message that he has been preaching from the beginning, they're not winning any championships anytime soon. It's become clear that the media and just people period are more concerned about "here and now", instead of the future. I however have argued why try to make a championship run now, when the NBA is at an all-time high of championship caliber teams, and in 3-4 years there's a possible chance that that won't be the case?
