Kevin Garnett Injury: Updates on Celtics Star’s Foot

Kevin Garnett just can't get healthy. 

The Boston Celtics' veteran big man recently returned from a hip injury that forced him to miss two games, but he is already dealing with a new ailment that will once again keep him out of the lineup.

As long as KG's newest malady isn't anything serious, the good news here is that the Celtics are already a near lock for the postseason.

With 12 games remaining, Boston currently sits in seventh place in the East. They are just two games ahead of Milwaukee, but Philadelphia is another eight games behind the Bucks. 

At this point, getting Garnett healthy for the playoffs is clearly priority No. 1 for Doc Rivers and Co., because even at 36, the big man is still a crucial piece to this team.

In 30 minutes per game, KG is averaging 14.9 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.9 blocks.
