Kevin Garnett Hits Pelicans F Ryan Anderson in Face, Draws Foul

Late in the first half of Tuesday night's game against the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves, New Orleans Pelicans forward Ryan Anderson found himself in some pain and getting called for a foul.

As the players made their way down the court in the final minute of the second quarter, Anderson got hit in the face by Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Garnett as the two made contact. Even after the officials reviewed the play, it was Anderson who was called for the infraction.

To recap, Garnett hit a guy in the face and drew the foul. That's not something you see every day.

At the very worst, Anderson would have liked to have seen it called a double foul, according to Scott Kushner of the New Orleans Advocate:

Although he didn't go so far as calling Garnett outright "dirty" after the game, the Pelicans big man did say the Timberwolves veteran has a knack for getting away with things like this, per Brett Martel of NBA.com:
