After laboring through an injury-plagued 2014-15 season, Kevin Durant's latest ailment to his hamstring may cause panic among the Oklahoma City Thunder faithful.

Durant Ruled Out for Remainder of Tuesday's Game Tuesday, Nov. 10 Durant started against the Washington Wizards, playing 17 minutes in the first half and scoring 14 points, but Howard Beck of Bleacher Report noted he would not return in the second half because of a left hamstring strain.

After the game, Thunder head coach Billy Donovan said Durant would be further evaluated on Wednesday, but noted the issue "didn't sound too serious," per Royce Young of ESPN.

Heading into Tuesday, Durant was averaging 30.1 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists while shooting 50.3 percent from the field.   

After being one of the NBA's iron men from 2007 through 2013, Durant faced adversity last season. He suffered a foot injury in the preseason and missed the first month of the regular season. For 27 games, Durant looked like the reigning MVP, but he was back on the shelf for good in February.
