The Charlotte Bobcats are currently slated to make their second postseason appearance in franchise history, but those hopes took a big hit when star point guard Kemba Walker was carried off the court after he rolled his left ankle on Saturday night against the Miami Heat:
Walker's pain was immediately apparent to everyone in attendance:
Walker underwent X-rays on the ankle, which came back negative, but he has been ruled out for the rest of the game:

It's still unclear how much, if any, time Walker will miss due to the injury, but any missed games will be a significant concern to the Bobcats franchise.
Walker is putting up All-Star-caliber numbers this season, averaging 19 points, four rebounds and five assists.
The fact that he had to be carried off the court is an ominous sign, and Charlotte can ill afford to be without its best player. The Bobcats have been a surprising team this season, rallying behind a defense that is ranked eighth in the league in defensive efficiency.
