The Golden State Warriors franchise could sure use a makeover, and like Rosie O’Donnell, we shouldn’t settle for cheap cosmetics

New owner Joe Lacob is likely to be the one who can bring about the changes we so desperately need (and no, Iguodala is not a Warrior).

Based off of his KNBR and CSN Bay Area interviews, he seems to be very knowledgeable and passionate about basketball and, more importantly, the Warriors.

I don’t want to attribute too much to these opening discussions; however, it sounds like prosperity is looming. At the same time, GSW followers won’t be sweet talked by this guy either. Ultimately he’ll have to produce.

So how will we go forward implementing these new changes?

Lacob says the Warriors will be modeled after Boston’s “Big Three," which he helped assemble. He goes further, explaining that it takes three great players to win a championship. Intriguingly, Curry and Lee were the only two mentioned as great players, leaving Monta Ellis out of his initiative.

Right or wrong, it looks as if Lacob doesn't have the electric guard incorporate ...
