Jose Calderon Reportedly Traded to Lakers: Latest Details, Comments and Reaction

The Chicago Bulls traded Jose Calderon to the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday, sources told The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski. 

The Lakers will take on the veteran's $7.7 million in their salary cap for next season, according to Mike Bresnahan of the TWC SportsNet. Bresnahan added additional details of the trade: "Lakers will get two future 2nd-round picks from Chicago while giving up rights to an undetermined player (someone likely drafted long ago.)"

The swap comes less than two weeks after the New York Knicks shipped Calderon to Chicago as a part of the deal that sent Derrick Rose to Madison Square Garden. 

Sources originally told Turner Sports' David Aldridge on Wednesday that the Bulls and Philadelphia 76ers have "had talks" about a deal involving Calderon, but the teams didn't make a move.
