Injury-Ravaged Grizzlies 'Expected to Take a Look' at Farmar

Ronald Tillery of the Commercial Appeal reported the buzz on Farmar, who would be of at least some help for depth purposes.
Farmer last played in the Association for the Los Angeles Clippers, appearing in 36 games last season with averages of 4.6 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists. He more recently played overseas for the Israeli Premier League's Maccabi Tel Aviv, per Tillery.
Injuries have depleted Memphis' rotation. In Wednesday's 114-108 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Grizzlies were without frontcourt pillars Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph and typical starting point guard Mike Conley, among others.
Memphis was recently forced to waive PG Mario Chalmers after he suffered a season-ending Achilles injury. Tillery reported Wednesday on the murky situation regarding the status young guard Jordan Adams, who isn't available as he recovers from a knee surgery.
