Clarkson Believes He Will Play Wednesday

Clarkson played 31 minutes in the 103-81 loss, but Mike Trudell of TWC SportsNet said the guard "got stepped on, subbed out and is getting X-rays on his right foot and lower right leg in the back." Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News noted "Clarkson said his X-rays came out negative, and he believes he will be fine to play tomorrow."
Medina also shared word from the Lakers that said Clarkson suffered a "bruised right fibula" and is "probable" for Wednesday's contest against the Clippers.
While this may be a lost season for the Lakers in terms of competing for a playoff spot, they certainly don’t want their young playmaker becoming injury-prone. He already dealt with a knee setback earlier in the season.
