John Wall Injury: Updates on Wizards Star’s Recovery from Knee Surgeries

Washington Wizards guard John Wall had procedures done on both knees Thursday, but the team expects him to recover in time for the start of the 2016-17 campaign.

Wall Undergoes Surgery on Bothersome Knees Thursday, May 5 Jorge Castillo of the Washington Post reported Wall, 25, underwent the operations in Cleveland on Thursday morning and confirmed the team is planning on having him available to start next season. Castillo noted that Wall probably won't participate in Team USA's Olympic camp and could miss the start of Wizards training camp as well.

Wizards Today noted that the procedure on Wall's left knee was to "excise calcific deposits in his left patella tendon in order to eliminate pain and assist healing," while the point guard "underwent an arthroscopic lavage on his right knee in order to remove loose bodies."
