Jimmy Butler Ties Game vs. Bucks with Bank-Shot 3-Pointer at Buzzer

Jimmy Butler can’t miss, and he knows it.

Averaging 26.7 points per game on 49.1 percent shooting for the Chicago Bulls' opening-round Eastern Conference playoff series, this 25-year-old breakout star continued to dominate the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 4.

When the halftime horn sounded, Butler’s box score was glowing: 23 points (on 8-of-12 shooting), three rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal.

Realizing he’d be emitting flames if this were NBA Jam, Butler pulled up for a three-point bomb with about two seconds to go in the second quarter. And, of course, he banked it in.

Thunderous “Let’s go Bulls!” chants filled Milwaukee’s home arena as the Bulls brought the ball up, and the place exploded when Butler’s shot caromed in off the window, tying the game at 50.

The shot, along with the forward’s stone-faced expression, summarized this entire series: Butler owns the Bucks.
