Jay-Z, USA Basketball Rock the First Annual World Basketball Festival

This year’s USA men’s basketball team may be lacking in the superstar department, but that doesn’t mean it will be treated with any less hype.

Friday, Nike kicked off the first annual World Basketball Festival in New York City. The venue of choice was Radio City Music Hall, where Team USA scrimmaged in front of a large audience.

New York’s very own Jay-Z capped off the night with an electrifying performance that had all of Radio City Music Hall on their feet. Actor Anthony Anderson was dubbed emcee of the event.

The festival concludes on Sunday with a double-header exhibition event featuring USA vs. France and China vs. Puerto Rico at Madison Square Garden.
