Jason Maxiell Takes a Swing at CBA Defender After Hard Foul, Opponent Runs Away

January 28th, 2016 by Kyle Newport Leave a reply »

Seeing that his hard foul wasn't sitting well with his opponent, Shandong (Chinese Basketball Association) center Wu Ke ran for his life to avoid scrapping with an angry Jason Maxiell, who plays for Tianjin.

Ke hit an unsuspecting Maxiell in the back of the head as the former NBA player was trying to get control of a loose ball. Understandably upset, Maxiell immediately confronted his opponent and took a swing.

And off Ke ran.

It was clear that Ke (6'10", 220 lbs) wanted nothing to do with a fistfight against the 6'7", 270-pound power forward, going as far as running the length of the court to avoid retaliation.

Maxiell had no problem chasing his opponent all the way down the court.

Fortunately for Ke, Shandong's Michael Beasley—yes, that Michael Beasley—was able to step in and calm Maxiell down before anything ugly happened.
