Jahlil Okafor Reportedly Pulled Over for Speeding at 108 MPH in Early November

Philadelphia 76ers center Jahlil Okafor reportedly was pulled over for driving 108 mph on the Ben Franklin Bridge in early November, according to Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer, who noted the bridge's speed limit is 45 mph. 

It's the latest off-court issue for the promising rookie. Okafor reportedly had a gun pointed at his head by a heckler outside of a Philadelphia club in early October, per Pompey. In addition, TMZ released footage of Okafor engaged in a scuffle outside of a Boston nightclub this past week, though no charges were filed.



"It was definitely dumb on my part," Okafor said about the nightclub incident, per Pompey. "It's something that I am embarrassed about." Pompey also noted Okafor added that he was "still dealing with the league and the team. But I'm not happy about it at all. But we are still going through the process of what we are going to do."


After the traffic stop became public, Okafor took to his Twitter account to apologize:
