Isiah Thomas Looks to Reign Over The New York Knicks Again

Have you ever had a rash that just would not go away? No matter what cream or ointment you tried, it still came back?

Well for the New York Knicks, Isiah Thomas is that rash.

New York is off to a 3-2 start, with two straight wins against the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards.  The talk should be about how great Toney Douglas and Raymond Felton have played. Or that Danilo Gallinari has finally found his shot.

The buzz around Madison Square Garden should be that they have a legitimate inside presence again in Amar’e Stoudemire and not about Isiah Thomas, and certainly not about him wanting to return to the Knicks.

Instead of preparing for the upcoming basketball season at Florida International University, Thomas is longing for the bright lights of Manhattan, not South Beach.

Instead of concentrating on how he can bounce back from what was a disappointing season, Thomas is dreaming of once again running the New York Knicks.
