Isaiah Whitehead Signs with Agent, Will Enter 2016 NBA Draft

Seton Hall sophomore guard Isaiah Whitehead will remain in the 2016 NBA draft on June 23, sources told The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski on Tuesday.

League sources told Sheridan Hoops' Michael Scotto that Whitehead has signed on with Andy Miller and Stephen Pina of ASM Sports. ESPN's Jeff Goodman confirmed the news and passed along a statement from Miller: “We are extremely excited to add Isaiah.”   

Whitehead had one last message for Seton Hall, via his Twitter:



He came from relatively out of nowhere with Seton Hall to average 18.2 points and 5.1 assists per game last season as the Pirates won the Big East for the first time since 1993. 

The Brooklyn, New York, native averaged 23.3 points per game in the Big East Conference tournament, scoring 26 in the final against eventual national champion Villanova:



Although the Pirates were bounced from the first round of the NCAA tournament by Gonzaga, Whitehead helped put them back on the college basketball map last season with a 25-9 record.
