Isaiah Thomas Comments on Being Voted to 2016 NBA All-Star Game

Isaiah Thomas has played for three teams in three seasons, but he may have found a home with the Boston Celtics after being named an All-Star for the first time on Thursday.

The Celtics point guard is averaging career highs at 21.6 points per game and 6.6 assists in his first full season in Boston. Thomas will be a member of the Eastern Conference All-Stars when the game is played in Toronto on Feb. 14.

"I asked myself yesterday, ‘What can they say now?'" Thomas said, per Chris Forsberg of ESPNBoston.com. "But they'll find something."

Thomas became the ninth player in NBA history to be listed under 6-foot to be named to the All-Star team, and the first since 1997. His journey to get to the All-Star Game has not been an easy one. After spending three seasons with the Sacramento Kings, he was dealt to the point-guard-heavy Phoenix Suns in a sign-and-trade.

After playing only 46 games for Phoenix, the Suns shipped Thomas to the Celtics in a three-team trade at last year's trade deadline. So far, it's worked out well ...
