Is Allen Iverson Really The Answer for the NY Knicks?

The Knicks have problems.

In searching for solutions for an NBA team's struggles, one would inevitably stumble upon The Answer.

The problem is that The Answer is really no answer at all. Just part of the same old solution that has failed the Knicks before and put them in the problem they are in now.

Confused? So are the Knicks if they think signing Iverson is a solution.

Admittedly, I have not seen the books for the Knicks. It is possible that they are just desperate to sell tickets for the remainder of this season. I am not convinced that Iverson does that, however, beyond the first several games he plays.

The Knicks have many problems, the most serious of which is image .

The Knicks have earned a reputation for taking junk off of the scrap heap and an image of bringing in me-first, offensive-minded guards (i.e. Steve Francis, Stephon Marbury, etc.).

The Knicks are finally on the rebuilding and looking forward wagon. Signing AI would be a relapse of Isaiah like proportion.

They hired a respected basketball man for operations, they hired a good coach, now it is time for the Knicks to ...
