Cleveland Cavaliers guard Iman Shumpert is dealing with a left shoulder sprain, and it is uncertain when he will be able to return to action.

Shumpert Out vs. Thunder   Sunday, Feb. 21 Anthony Slater of the Oklahoman reported Shumpert will sit out versus Oklahoma City on Sunday.

Shumpert Is No Stranger to Injury Between a torn ACL in his past and offseason wrist surgery that sidelined him for the beginning of 2015-16, Shumpert knows what it's like to deal with adversity through injury. The Cavs had to adapt during his absence this season and have still managed to remain atop the Eastern Conference.

Shumpert is a lockdown perimeter defender and brings a tremendous amount to that end of the floor. While Cleveland will have no trouble scoring without him, the 25-year-old is a valuable cog to the Cavs' hopeful championship bid.

Mo Williams could potentially grab more minutes while Shumpert is out after Cleveland dealt Jared Cunningham to the Orlando Magic ahead of the trade deadline.
