After enduring the summer heat and buzz of whether Tracy McGrady will re-sign with the New York Knicks, multiple reports confirm that he is heading to the Detroit Pistons for the 2010-2011 NBA season.
Obviously, the Miami Heat made a big impact this year by structuring a three man threat; however, many players like McGrady took the risk of being tossed elsewhere at a discounted price. The veteran and Former Knicks Guard-Forward McGrady signed a $1.35 million contract.
Is this a wise decision and has McGrady’s health gradually improved during the summer training? I guess we won’t know until he enters Olympia Stadium this coming season. Many feel it was a smart play being that his seasons are limited and this may be his last chance to play under no injuries.
