How Kevin Garnett Has Cured His Comment

Kevin Garnett's fierce tongue is acceptable as long as it matches his fierce game, and this season we have seen the return of KG.

By this point most of the basketball world knows what Kevin Garnett was alleged to have said to Detroit's Charlie Villanueva. Garnett denies saying Villanueva was a cancer patient, through the allegation has opened Garnett up to criticisms of his signature and prolific trash talking.

Much has been said of how Garnett should repent for something he denies even saying, but it seems KG is repenting in a way sure to make Boston fans happy, with his excellent statistics.

Last season fans did not get to see much of the old KG, and his injury troubles lead to concern about his long and expensive contract, keeping him a Celtic until 2012 for the grand total of $51 million dollars. While it is undeniable he earned his keep bringing Boston a championship in 2007-2008, his offense fell considerably last year.

His knee seems to be as fixed as it will get, however, and KG is once again integral in turning Rondo's passes into assists. He has been averaging 15.4 points a game, ...
