Jeff Teague scored 25 points, Paul Millsap had 16 points and 14 rebounds and the Atlanta Hawks rallied from a 15-point fourth-quarter deficit to top the Houston Rockets, 104-96, at Philips Arena Tuesday night, notching their fifth straight win.
The Rockets were without James Harden, who served his one-game suspension for kicking LeBron James below the belt during Sunday's win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
It didn't seem to matter much early, as Houston built an 18-point lead in the first half. The Hawks could not buy a bucket, and the Rockets were getting great production from the likes of Jason Terry, Terrence Jones and Josh Smith.
Houston took a 59-45 lead into halftime.
Atlanta came out of the gates quickly in the second half and got to within four, but Houston responded, going up 15 points on back-to-back three-pointers by Smith and Pablo Prigioni early in the fourth period.
That's when the Hawks took over.
Atlanta got huge stops defensively and started making threes, including a go-ahead triple by Teague to put the Hawks up 91-90 late.
