Hornets vs. 76ers: Philadelphia Defeats New Orleans

The Philadelphia 76ers defeated Chris Paul and the New Orleans Hornets Sunday in Philadelphia, 88-70.

In this game we witnessed the Sixers display a team effort, and we also witnessed some horrific shooting from the Hornets.

The Sixers played tremendous defense, allowing the Hornets only four assists.

Four.

That's right, the Sixers held Chris Paul and the rest of the Hornets to just four assists the entire game.

In the first half, the Hornets scored just 23 points. That is the least amount of points the Sixers have allowed in a first half in franchise history.

Because of this, Paul was forced to shoot the ball. In fact, Paul was the only player on the Hornets to score more than three baskets.

Take a look at the Hornets roster, aside from Paul. Here are how many field goal attempts and field goals made each player had:

David West: 2/10

Trevor Ariza: 2/11

Emeka Okafor: 0/5

Marco Belinelli: 3/9

Willie Green: 0/7

It's just too hard to go on longer. As a team total, they shot 24/79 from the field.
