Hey David Stern! Put Down the Fork and Do Your Job

It's less than two months since the NBA celebrated its highest ratings in years for an NBA Final series, and Stern, CAA, and Le Petit Prince LeBron have turned the NBA into the biggest joke in professional sports.

It's pretty obvious to anybody who can read, Miami colluded to bring LeBron James to Miami to play with Dwayne Wade. They did it using Wade as a player to run discussions between Pat Riley and James.

Technically, they didn't break any rules. But if you let a GM talk to a player through an intermediary about business plans for the next season, it's pretty obvious what's going on. 

If a player is already making plans to leave the team he's playing on for another, it's pretty obvious he is no longer fully engaged in winning for his current team.

In the past, David Stern used to stop that kind of monkey business for the good of the league. But now he seems to be willing to suck up to the stars in his league like a starstruck kid looking for validation. Or maybe he just can't put his fork down long enough to do his job anymore.
