I have no understanding as to why there is a new rumor every 30 minutes, and half of them do not make any sense whatsoever.
Let's not look at the drafting confusion with Jonny Flynn and Ricky Rubio, but rather at the trades that occurred before drafting day and during the regular season.
Acquired the fifth selection in the 2009 NBA draft, center Etan Thomas, and forwards Darius Songaila and Oleksiy Pecherov from the Washington Wizards for guards Randy Foye and Mike Miller.
Signed G Ramon Sessions to a four-year contract.
Signed G Sasha Pavlovic to a one-year contract.
Acquired F Nathan Jawai and cash from the Dallas Mavericks for a conditional second-round draft pick in 2012.
Acquired F Alando Tucker, a second-round draft pick and cash from Phoenix for G Jason Hart.
Do any of these trades or signing seem out of favor for the Wolves at all? Randy Foye and Mike Miller for Darius Songaila, Oleksiy Pecherov, and the fifth overall pick might have seemed ill advised because Mike Miller and Randy Foye were "starting NBA players".
Hmm.
