Golden State’s D-Fense: Five Players Who Could Give Warriors Some Defensive Help

The Warriors will be battling for that 8th spot in the Western Conference for the rest of the year, but it looks like that's the highest seed they can attain.

Everyone one always says, "Defense wins championships.", but how about just winning the close games and not having to rely on Monta Ellis putting up 40 points a night?

I believe that Lee, Biedrins, and Curry are pretty solid defenders for now (as well as Udoh off the bench), although Biedrins gets in foul trouble entirely too quickly, but where they really lack a defensive presence is at the power forward and shooting guard positions.

Ellis and Wright are two big-time scoring threats, but they're pretty much a non-factor on defense. They also play the two positions that all scorers in the West seem to play.

I compiled a list of bench players who could help shut down the premiere scorers in the league, as well as get Golden State into that 8th seed in the playoffs.
