Stephen Curry dropped a game-high 32 points to help the Golden State Warriors outlast the Washington Wizards 114-107 Tuesday night at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.

Though the electrifying point guard was held out of Sunday's loss to the Indiana Pacers due to a foot injury, Curry showed no signs of pain throughout the night. He connected on 11-of-18 shots—including a 5-of-9 mark from long distance—and dished eight assists for the Warriors (44-10).

Klay Thompson netted 17 points and tied a career high with five steals. Draymond Green tallied 13 points, six rebounds and five assists in the victory.

On the other side of the floor, Paul Pierce scored 25 points, John Wall added 16 points and 11 assists while Marcin Gortat chipped in 16 points and 11 rebounds. However, their individual contributions weren't enough for the Wizards (33-24), who committed a season-worst 26 turnovers.

Additionally, Washington coach Randy Wittman inexplicably benched Gortat for the entire fourth quarter, which allowed Golden State to utilize their best lineup down the stretch. ...
