Over 40 players have went from high school straight to the NBA in the past 50 years. Reggie Harding was the first to do so as he was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in 1962. Moses Malone, Darryl Dawkins, and Bill Willoughby entered the league in the 70s and later, future first-ballot Hall-of-Famers such as Kevin Garnett and Kobe Bryant arrived during the 90s. It's crazy to imagine an 18-year old playing against other teenage kids one day and then battling 30-year old professionals the next. Too bad the NBA changed the rules and won't allow a player under the age of 19 to make himself eligible for the draft. Anyway, this slideshow will feature the 20 best "prep-to pros" of all-time.
