In 1996, the "50 Greatest Players in NBA History" team was assembled to honor the NBA's fiftieth anniversary. The team featured all of the legends such as Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain, and Oscar Robertson.

And then in 2006, TNT broadcasters selected the "Next 10" which included the likes of Kevin Garnett, Gary Payton, and Reggie Miller.

I came up with a list of the 63 greatest players since it has been 63 years since the NBA was formed.

Here is the list in alphabetical order:

 

Kareem Abdul Jabbar - all-time leading scorer, won an astounding six MVP's      

Nate "Tiny" Archibald - led the league in scoring and assists in the same season


Paul Arizin (Pitchin' Paul) - potent scorer and 10-time All-Star


Charles Barkley (Sir Charles) - won a MVP, sensational rebounder


Rick Barry - led the NBA in free through percentage six times


Elgin Baylor - dangerous scorer, played in eight NBA Finals 

Walt Bellamy (Bells) - averaged 31.6 points and 19 rebounds during rookie year
