Frank Kaminsky Injury: Updates on Hornets Center’s Foot and Return

The Charlotte Hornets believe Frank Kaminsky will be a foundation piece for their future, but the second-year center is dealing with a foot sprain. His official status against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday has yet to be announced.

Hornets Need Kaminsky Healthy for Playoff Push Kaminsky won almost every major individual honor during his four years at Wisconsin, but the jump to the NBA proved to be a difficult one. He averaged 7.5 points and 4.1 rebounds in 81 games as a rookie last season. 

The 23-year-old has fans in the right places, as ESPN.com's Chris Forsberg reported after the draft that Charlotte's front office—led by owner Michael Jordan—turned down a trade package featuring six future picks from the Boston Celtics to select Kaminsky.
