Fantasy MVP: LeBron James (Cavs)

James is leading the league in points per game (29.9) and is sixth in assists (8.3).  He also is averaging 1.9 three-pointers, 1.6 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game.  He is shooting 50 percent from the field and has the second-best free throw percentage of his career at 77.6 percent.

Runner up: Kevin Durant (Thunder)

 

Least Valuable player: John Salmons (Bulls)


Salmons was traded to the Bulls last season and was expected to carry some of the load this year with Ben Gordon gone.  In 26 games with the Bulls last season, Salmons averaged 18.3 points and 1.9 three-pointers per game while shooting 47 percent from the field and 81 percent from the line.  This season, however, he is averaging just 12.8 points, 1.4 three-pointers, and is shooting 41 percent from the field and 78 percent from the line.

Runner up: Gilbert Arenas (Wizards)
